![]() ![]() If connecting to your phone via Bluetooth is more important than a stable audio connection to the Xbox, and you want to constantly be fiddling with your headset mid game, go ahead and get the 9x. So far with the 7x, two days in and about 8 hours of game play, I have had 0 issues whatsoever. ![]() With the 9x's, it got to a point where I almost couldn't enjoy playing games because of how often the audio would cut in and out. They are absolutely amazing and I should have gone with them from the start. I ended up returning the 9x's and just got my 7x the other day. I tried turning off 2.4 gHz wifi, disconnecting the devices near my Xbox from wifi, and hard resetting the Xbox and the headset with no success. I was told via Steelseries and Microsoft that it has something to do with the next gen xbox controllers bluetooth connection (including the elite series 2 pro controller) interfering with the audio connection when playing next gen games. Sometimes it would automatically reconnect and other times I would legit have to unplug my Xbox to get them to connect again. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT BUY THE 9X!!! I spent about 2 months and 30 plus replies with customer service trying to figure out the connectivity issues on the Xbox series x.Īudio would constantly cut in and out when playing next gen games, and occasionally it would completely disconnect mid game.
